Nars Isolde Duo : Review and Swatches

Hello there, well my blogpost today is about my new love in the makeup world nars Isolde eyeshadow duo. I originally got this for Christmas and I couple of months ago, I rediscovered and I am in love!

It swatches so effortlessly and it's amazingly pigmented, it last pretty much the whole day on the eye (bare in mind I don't have oily eyelids).

The texture it very creamy and velvety. For the lighter colour think urban decay half baked, its in naked and naked 2 palette, with more orangy tones in it and the darker is a coppery brown. 

Also I think because the eyeshadows do have orangy tones on them they look amazing on blue eyes, but I'm pretty sure they would look good on most eye colours.

Anyway let's get down with the sad part of this duo, because well nars is a high end brand it come with a a hefty price tag of £25.00 which comes out at £12.50 for each shadow so basically the same price for an individual mac shadow in the pot.

If you know of any good dupes be sure to leave them in the comments as I have yet to find one also in pictures I may have dropped isolde a few times and due to being so creamy the lighter colour fell apart and left a big dent in it :(

  Hiya, a couple of days I go I was shopping the sale racks at a few of my favourite highstreet stores and I thought I would share some of the great bargains I got so you can check the out some of the sales. All of things I got were dresses, don’t really know how that happened, but ah well let’s have a wee look then.

Worth the Hype??? Essie Fiji

  Essie’s Fiji is a nail polish that i think is very popular, but then again I have heard some not so positive reviews on it, well here is my truthful opinion.

   The nail polish retails for £7.99, I picked mine up at boots. Personally I think almost eight pounds for a nail polish is quite expensive like let’s face you could buy two Barry m nail paints with that but then again sometimes I feel that Essie nail polish is better quality, but at the same time some of the nail polishes I have tried from there have been a bit streaky in previous years, not all of them I may add because some of them are fabulous.

  There has been controversy on the colour of this nail polish whether it is white or pink I personally think it a very pale baby pink colour but you can decide that for yourself.

  I have had the polish on for 3 days and no chips so far, big thumbs up for that. You also should know I have no base or top coat on, so that is really good in my opinion.

  Over all the application of the polish was good but I did need two coats to get a completely opaque finish. I think it would look amazing on your hands with a bit of tan, I am very pale so don’t expect beautiful  tanned hands in my swatches. It will definitely be a staple summer nail polish for me.

An Itroduction To My Blog

  Hiya, Well I want to start off by saying, here is my blog and hopefully this will be more successful than last because it majorly failed........

  This happened because I forgot the password to my account (typical me), but nobody read it anyway so it’s not a big deal.  I want to start fresh with this blog because for the few posts I had on my old blog  it was the most amazing experience writing them, even though I was the only one reading them, ok maybe that was lie my mum read them too.

  Like a lot of girls I have fallen into the beauty and fashion obsessed world on the internet consisting of blogs and YouTube, oh and I forgot to mention this will be another beauty blog even though we probably don’t need anymore because there seems to be sooo many, but I love makeup and fashion so I have decided I will do it, if all of this goes to plan.
